The store was started by Jerry Waye, a pastor and church planter.  He realized that  Christian products  were so expensive that many people could not afford to purchase the items they needed for themselves and for their ministries. So he began searching for bargain priced Christian products.. His search was successful.      First, Jerry found clearance and overstocked books and bibles at deeply discounted prices. These products were in good condition and some are even still on the bestseller lists. The books included Christian fiction, Christian living, Bible reference, church and pastoral helps, apologetics, gift books, women’s and men’s interest, and much, much more.      That was not the end of his successful searching. Jerry also found discount priced  t-shirts, jewelry, gift and home décor items. These beautiful and inspirational plaques, religious figurines, and crosses were received by our customers. with great enthusiasm. People were able to purchase many gifts that they could not afford before. The t-shirts he located were also a great hit with customers, many priced as low as $3.97. They have fun designs with a Christian message, providing a great opportunity to witness to others.   People were also amazed at the design jewelry that we discovered. The bracelets, anklets, and necklaces all have Christian designs, and most are priced from $2.99. Most stores were selling the same type of jewelry priced at $9.99 or more.      The customers of Rockview Bookstore were so appreciative of the great bargains offered that Jerry decided that others ought to have the opportunity to obtain these great Christian products.
